Vinyasa & Yoga Nidra:
Long Class + Social Evening
Saturday 3rd October 2015, 5-7pm – Meetup after the class
Join like-minded yogis in this 2-hour class with asanas, pranayama & yoga nidra (deep relaxation technique), followed by a social evening in a delicious local restaurant
This long class will be an opportunity to deepen your yoga practice with techniques that we rarely have time to cover in the weekly classes. There will also be more asanas with vinyasa flow, however we will go beyond the physical dimension and approach the subtle energy body with pranayama techniques (breath control) and yoga nidra (deep relaxation).
The meaning of yoga nidra is ‘yogic sleep’. It is an ancient technique from the tantra tradition that allows body & mind to reach an homeostatic state (optimal balance) by releasing physical and mental blocks . It is an effortless meditation where you will be guided towards inner stillness and deep relaxation.
After the class, you are welcome to join the group for a get together. We will head to Petek, a Turkish restaurant nearby, where we will continue sharing the good energy of yoga over a delicious dinner. This will also be my farewell moment with you as I will leave London at the end of October. Let’s celebrate together!

Mats are provided. You need to wear comfortable clothes. Please bring an additional jumper in order to stay warm in yoga nidra (there will blankets in limited quantity….).
The class is suitable to beginners.
